Equality Policy

SteadyCare Australia takes a zero tolerance position on all forms of harassment and discrimination.

Harassment and discrimination including any form of bullying and victimisation is strongly viewed as unacceptable behaviour. All individuals, regardless of age, race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, language, religious beliefs and political beliefs have the right to be treated equally.

All people who are a party to a SteadyCare Australia’s services whether they be a team member, client, client representative, plan manager, contractor or a member of the public are entitled to:

  • The right to equality
  • The right to be treated with respect
  • The right to be treated fairly
  • The right to be feel emotionally and physically safe

All reports pertaining to a breach of these rights will be actioned promptly and dealt with sensitively, impartially and to a satisfactory standard. Both the complainant and the person against whom the complaint is made will, where necessary, receive information, assistance and support with a view to finding a resolution.

Victimisation will not be tolerated by SteadyCare Australia. All persons involved in harassment or discrimination complaint process should be allowed to do so free of any form of victimisation. However, harassment or discrimination should not be confused with legitimate advice, feedback or comment provided by management or trainers.
